Weight: 231.6 BF%: ???
Initial notes: With sticking to my diet, and avoiding the alcohols, I've finally managed to hit a minimum that I haven't seen since I moved down to Iowa. It's very inspiring. On the note of the alcohols, this is day 4 without having any. I've done that before, but I don't desire it near as strongly as I usually did. The few times that my mind revisits those desires, it is easily squelched by my motivations to get into shape.
On the note of motivations, I gave myself another one. I've committed myself to doing the Tough Mudder on July 18th(?) this year. That means I have 5 and a half months to get into a shape that I can handle keeping up with the group. It's my desire to be able to push them to some limits, but they are lightyears ahead of me. My goal is to not fall behind too much that I'm holding them back too much. Fortunately for myself, I've already begun the progress for at least the running portion: I've been out running the past 4 out of 5 days. I'm going to do the Couch to 5k plan, except running 5 times instead of 3.
The reason I didn't run yesterday was because I made the excuse that I needed to recover, and that I hadn't slept well. Which was true. But that would have only been bad had I not ran today. Which I did. In the cold. Also, day 2 it snowed... and I still went outside. I think that's a good indicator to me that I can keep up with this. Each day seemed a bit easier than the last, so I pushed myself harder toward the end. I just need to get out and do it tomorrow, and I'll have a great start. That'll be 1 week down, 8 more to go.
Diet:
The Usge
790 Steak Bagel
790 Sandwich, Protein Bar, CHEESSSSEEEEE!
420 Soup
TOTALLLLLLLLL.... 2000!
Keeping this crap up isn't too hard. Work is also turning out great. I'm lightyears ahead of where I expected to be by now. I've learned a whole new language... Things are looking pretty sweet. This week just sucks because, in order to get up to MN by Friday, I'm working 10 hours a day M/T/W, so I have very little time awake while at home. I'm worried it's bothering Kayla, but it doesn't seem like it. I've done something with her each night, for at least an hour.
